Our Favorite Chili

White Chicken Chili

1lb boneless chicken cubed
1 medium onion
1 ½ tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp olive oil
3 cans small white beans, rinsed and drained
1 can chicken broth
1-2 cans (4oz) diced green chilies
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp oregano
½ tsp pepper
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (opt)
1 cup sour cream (I use ½ cup)
½ cup whipping cream (I use 1 cup milk)

Saute chicken, onion and garlic powder in oil. Add beans, broth, chilies, and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes. Remove from heat-add sour cream and whipping cream.

*This recipe is flexible so use what you have: canned chicken, no chicken, pinto beans, ect... And adjust the chili and peppers to your liking.
